Membership Grades
Membership is open to professional arborists and tree managers in private industry and local authorities, scientists, training organisations, students, and any person or group interested in amenity trees. The Association is committed to a dynamic interaction of arboricultural professionals with a dedication to maintenance of the highest standards in amenity tree care.
NZ Arb welcomes new members at any time, and we have a number of different membership categories below that reflect our diverse membership and recognise various levels of qualification in New Zealand.

ASSOCIATE

Inc GST /per year
An Associate Member is a person who is not a qualified arborist, including professionals from other industries who have an interest in arboriculture but are not qualified. An Associate Member shall not have voting rights.

HONORARY MEMBER
Free
Inc GST /per year
An Honorary Member is a person honoured for services to the Society or in an associated field elected as an Honorary Member by resolution of a General Meeting passed by a two-thirds majority of those present and voting. An Honorary Member has no membership rights, privileges or duties.
