On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Cert 4 Qualified Arborist to join their fantastic team in Auckland, New Zealand. You will be working in pairs (to ensure safety of course) whilst undertaking maintenance across the Auckland area.

• Permanent, Full-time Position (40 hrs/week + overtime)

So, you're interested in the company, but eager to understand what a day in the life could look like for you??  Some duties include, but are not limited to:-

• Assessing soil and space requirements for new trees.

• Planting new trees.

• Trimming and pruning branches and trees.

• Applying pesticides or specialized tree fertilizers where required.

• Removing dead, unwanted, or hazardous trees.

• May include some rescuing if you've got the experience.

Just to ensure you're qualified and suitable, please ensure you meet the minimum requirements below:-

• Experience within the Arboriculture industry is required.

• National Cert in Arboriculture (level 4).

• A strong focus on health and safety. Prior experience doing rescues is advantageous.

• A valid full NZ Driver's License (class 2, manual) – with no prior convictions.

• Valid work rights in New Zealand.

• No current or previous injuries that inhibit your ability to climb and/or rescue (and no previous history of being on the ACC).

• You will be asked to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and potentially a National Police Check.

• If you're a Utility Arborist, you must have the relevant certifications and experience.

Our client will consider individuals on a visa, so long as:-

· You are able to work full-time with no restrictions,

· Your visa is valid for a minimum of 1 year,

· You do not require sponsorship as the company is not offering sponsorship, and

· You are ISA Certified.
