Planting Day - Shepherd’s Park

Join Friends of Shepherd's Park and Pest Free Kaipātiki for a Matariki planting day. We will be planting native trees to help restore the local environment, provide food and shelter for our native birds and leave a positive legacy for future generations.

We will be meeting on the lower sports fields - look for the PFK flag. The best part entrance to use is Melba St.

Please wear weather appropriate outdoor clothing and clean closed-toe shoes. Bring your own clean spade and gloves if you have them, but spare spades and tools will also be provided.

Refreshments will be provided after the event to reward your efforts.
